After 3 days of waiting, the oysters finally spawned.

Hand picked broodstock with suspected Dermo resistance produced the largest number of eggs I have ever seen, 157 million eggs. Some eggs were kept in the hatchery while the extras were released in Edgartown great pond and Tisbury great pond.
